The University of Exeter will be hosting the first National Student’s Brains and Nerves research conference on 31st October 2015.
“Interested in the human nervous system? Find the human brain fascinating? Want to know about career options related to the nervous system and how to improve your CV to reach those goals?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the questions above, the National Brain & Nerves Conference 2015 will be a useful guide for you in shaping your career path, no matter where you are in your stage of training. You can listen to specialist speakers on a range of subjects (including, but not limited to neurosurgery, interventional neuroradiology, aphantasia, neuropsychiatry and myelination in the peripheral nervous system) and can pick their brains on how to make it in their field.
The conference also features various workshops such as ‘How to get published’ or ‘How to improve your CV’ in your chosen neurological field.
The event will take place on Saturday 31st October between 10:00 and 16:00 in The Research, Innovation, Learning and Development Centre (RILD) at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital Campus.
